Springdale-based Core Brewing Co. will celebrate the opening of the company’s first Fayetteville taproom from 3-11 p.m. this Friday, Oct. 23 at 3671 N. Mall Ave., next to Phat Tire Bike Shop.

The brewery, which got its start on Lowell Road in Springdale, has recently been opening independent taprooms across the region. Other Core locations have opened or are planned in Rogers, Fort Smith, downtown Springdale, and in the Springdale Har-Ber neighborhood.

Owner Jesse Core told us earlier this year that the new Fayetteville location will serve Core’s lineup of locally-brewed beers, their new line of ciders, as well as hot dogs and popcorn. The new taproom will also feature a 1,400-square-foot patio overlooking Mud Creek Trail, complete with a dog-friendly bar and plenty of TVs.
