Freak out, Hunkr Down fans. Kyle and the boys are getting the band back together next month.

For those who aren’t familiar, Hunkr Down was one of the more popular bands in town during the mid-90s/early 2000s. This week, they announced they’ll reunite for their 22th anniversary show on Dec. 4 at Ryleigh’s.

The bands announced the show on Monday via their Facebook page, with a modest challenge for their fans.

“If this post gets 3 likes we will play another show,” the post read.

A few minutes later, a second post announced the details.

It’s the first time the band has performed since they reunited back in 2013 for a sold out show at The Phoenix on Dickson Street.

For now, there are no plans to sell advance tickets to next month’s show, but Ryleigh’s does plan to sell a few tables/reserved seats. For more information about that, call the venue at (479) 444-7324.
