After being closed for the summer and fall for remodeling, the Walton Arts Center will re-open this weekend for their fall season. Their first show is Friday night, a family-oriented show called Me and My Shadow. Here’s more on the show, and ticket information.

It’s the last weekend to check out TheatreSquared’s latest hit show, Water by the Spoonful at Nadine Baum Studios. There are a handful of chances to see the show. Here’s more.

Music-wise, there’s a big show at Nomad’s Music Lounge with Some Guy Named Robb, The Inner Party and Poor Ol’ Uncle Fatty. We heard the Inner Party is playing an acoustic set.

George’s has a big show as well, with country artists Eli Young Band and Brandon Lay performing Friday night.
