Journey and The Doobie Brothers will play at the Walmart AMP on May 31, 2016 as part of their joint San Francisco Fest tour, venue officials announced today. Special guest Dave Mason will open the show.

Tickets range from $35 to $129.50, and go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5. Tickets can be bought at the Walton Arts Center Box Office’s temporary location in Nadine Baum Studios, by calling 479-443-5600 or by visiting www.amptickets.com.

Journey was formed in 1973 by two former members of Santana. The band has since sold nearly 80 million albums worldwide. The tour will include the return of Journey drummer Steve Smith, who was with the band from 1978-1985 and from 1995-1996.

The Doobie Brothers formed in 1970 and has sold over 40 millions albums to date. The band still includes two of its original members, singer-guitarists Tom Johnston and Patrick Simmons.

Solo artist Dave Mason is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame singer and guitarist who co-founded the English rock band Traffic in 1967.
