Hunkr Down

Staff photo

TheatreSquared’s new show Peter & The Starcatcher opens this weekend at Nadine Baum Studios. Here’s more information about that.

Hunkr Down, the incredibly popular local band active in the late 90s/early 2000s in Fayetteville, will reunite for a show on Friday night at Ryleigh’s on Dickson Street. It’s an early show that’ll probably start promptly at 9 p.m.

Also in music, funky mummy band, Here Come the Mummies are back in town for a show at George’s, and there’s a rock show at The Lightbulb Club with locals Meatsweat, Bik Fliqqr, and Thunderman.

Saturday, Dec. 5

It’s a big weekend for local craft markets in Fayetteville. We found six taking place this weekend, including the popular Little Craft Show event set for Saturday at the Fayetteville Town Center. Here are details on that show, and the others.

Local band Handmade Moments will celebrate the release of their new album before hitting the road for the next couple years on Saturday night at Smoke & Barrel Tavern. Our friend Kevin Kinder details their journey here.

The Symphony is performing Saturday night as well. SoNA will perform their Christmas Show at Walton Arts Center, featuring old standards and a few surprises.
