Baltimore band Animal Collective just announced their 2016 tour, and guess what local city is on the list?

If you read the headline of this post, you already know it’s Fayetteville. The band will be at George’s on April 28.

They’ll be touring in support of a new record, titled Painting With, and due out on Feb. 19 on Domino Records. It’ll make the 11th full length album for the band, who has also released a handful of EPs and live recordings over the years.

The first track from their upcoming album was released about a week ago. You can check that out below.

As far as indie acts go, they’re a big deal, and a big get for George’s considering they’ll likely sell out several much larger venues around the world on their upcoming tour. Go Fayetteville.

Acclaimed Bay Area artist Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith is scheduled to open the show.

General admission tickets will be $25, and go on sale Friday, Dec. 11 at George’s ticketing site.
