Fayetteville’s favorite Grammy-nominated duo will play a free show in town Tuesday (Dec. 8).
Trout Fishing in America will perform at Adventure Subaru beginning at 6 p.m., as part of the launch of the dealership’s Share the Love campaign.
The campaign is part of a larger initiative in which Subaru donates $250 for every car sold during a roughly 40-day period over the winter to a local or national charity. Last year, Adventure Subaru raised $50,000 for local charity Feed Communities.
The dealership has partnered with Feed Communities again this year for the kick-off event, which will also serve as a food drive for local food pantries.
Food from local restaurants and beer from local breweries will be available on Tuesday night as well. The first 50 families to arrive will also receive a free copy of Trout Fishing in America’s Grammy-nominated holiday album, Merry Fishes.
There’s no charge to attend, but organizers are asking folks to bring two healthful, non-perishable food items for the food drive.
