Circus of China

The circus is in town this weekend. Not just any circus, either. It’s the National Circus and Acrobats of the People’s Republic of China, and they’re performing on both Friday and Saturday night at Walton Arts Center. Ticket info is here.

TheatreSquared’s Peter and the Starcatcher is also playing now at Nadine Baum Studios, with multiple performances scheduled through the weekend. Here’s a schedule.

There’s plenty of good music in town as well, with locals Ditch Cat and Ten High at Ryleigh’s, Manchild and High Lonesome at JR’s Lightbulb Club, and The Urban Pioneers (Tennessee) and Dumbstruck Boys at Smoke & Barrel Tavern.
