One of the biggest metal bands of all time is coming to Fayetteville this winter.

New York City band Anthrax just announced they’ll be performing at George’s Majestic Lounge on Feb. 3 as part of their upcoming tour.

The band, formed in the early 1980s by guitarist Scott Ian and former bass player Dan Lilker, has sold over 10 million records worldwide over the years. They’re considered one of the “big four” of thrash metal bands, along with Metallica, Slayer, and Megadeth.

It’s been a pretty big year for the band. They recently announced a Latin America tour set for early 2016 with Iron Maiden. They are recorded and are set to release their 11th studio album, titled For All Kings and due out Feb. 26 of next year. They have their own limited edition Anthrax-branded Knob Creek Bourbon.

Tickets are $22 in advance and (if any are left) $25 the day of show. They go on sale on Friday, Dec. 18 at George’s ticketing site.
