In addition to the music, expect performances from Comedians NWA, Cabaret Fayetteville, Artist’s Laboratory Theatre, Phunbags Comedy Improv, Roughhouse Improv, Word Wars, Diamond Divas Drag, Opera Fayetteville, Jugglology, and more.

Kid-friendly activities will also return this year, including storytelling, juggling, a magic show, and performances by Shaky Bugs.

A “Hog drop,” (similar to the ball-drop in Times Square) featuring a 8.5-foot-long hog sculpture, is set for midnight so attendees can count down the arrival of the New Year shortly before a fireworks finale.

An after-party will take place immediately following the fireworks with music by DJ Purp Loder.

General admission tickets start at $20 in advance for adults and $5 for children. VIP tickets are available for $95, and include access to a VIP lounge with hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine and artisan cocktails.

Also this year, popular radio show Tales from the South will be taping live during the festival inside the Chancellor Hotel’s 6494 Bistro beginning at 5 p.m..

The event bis set for Thursday, Dec. 31, and the entertainment will take place at the indoor venues listed below around the square.
