The body of Backroad Anthem singer Craig Strickland has been found, according to multiple media outlets.

Strickland, 29, was found dead on Monday morning in Bear Creek Cove, a area of Kaw Lake near Ponca City, Oklahoma where rescuers had been looking for him for more than a week.

The musician had been missing since he and friend Chase Morland of Van Buren went duck hunting on the lake early on Sunday, Dec. 27.

The hunters’ boat was found capsized just after midnight early Monday, Dec. 28, and Moreland was found dead later that day.

Oklahoma had been the scene of massive storms during the weekend the two hunters disappeared, with heavy rain, snow and ice falling in much of the northern part of the state.
