The old Hastings building in Fiesta Square will soon have a new tenant.

Tyson Foods plans to utilize the nearly 38,000-square-foot retail space, located at 2999 N. College Ave., as office space for a portion of the company’s procurement department for at least a year while part of its Springdale headquarters undergoes a remodeling project.

About 150-170 employees will work out of the building, according to a report at NWAOnline.com.

The Hastings space has been vacant since the music, books, and video store closed in 2013.
