New Flyer Sponsor: Foghorn’s

You know what we love about our sponsors?

There are countless things, actually, but one of the most impressing things they seem to all have in common is the way that nearly all of them give back to the community in some way.

You’ll spot several of their logos on posters and on the backs of the t-shirts for just about every local charitable event, fundraiser, or community get-together that happens in Fayetteville.

That’s because the owners of these local places live here, they spend their money here, they want to raise their families here, and as a result, they do their part to help make this an awesome place to live. They’re incredible.

That’s exactly the case with our newest sponsor, Foghorn’s, and owner Jeff Hodges.

We met Jeff through his work with the annual Putt for Paws event, a fundraiser he organized, and that has donated over $50,000 to the Humane Society of the Ozarks since it started seven years ago.

This month, he donated $3,250 to four local charities; Donald W. Reynolds Boys & Girls Club of Fayetteville, Fayetteville Animal Services, Humane Society of the Ozarks, and The Chase Family Foundation.

He’s probably best known, though, for his wings. Foghorn’s opened on College Avenue in the early 2000s, and has since expanded to operate three locations in Northwest Arkansas, with a fourth coming soon in Rogers. The restaurant serves wings with over 50 signatures sauces and dry rubs available. In addition, they’ve got some enormous chicken tenders, 10 different signature burgers, sandwiches, salads, nachos, and more.

They’ve got great specials, too. Monday is burger day, with any burger and side for just $6.99 all day, and “build-your-own-burgers” starting at just $3 in the evenings. On Tuesdays, wings are just 65¢ all day. Wednesday is College Night, with 20% off for students (with ID) from 6 p.m. to close. On Thursdays, boneless wings are just 65¢.

They’ve got great drink specials, too. Every Monday from 3-6 p.m., they’ve got crazy Happy Hour specials, with $2 domestic drafts, $3 wells, $4 wines, $1 off imports, 50¢ off domestic bottles, and $1 off appetizers. Wednesday is Ladies Night, with $3 wine, frozen drinks and flavored vodkas from 6 p.m. to close. On Friday night, Fireball shots are $3.50. On Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., well Bloody Marys are $3, flavored Bloody Marys are $4, and premium Bloody Marys are just $5.

They moved a few years ago from their original location on College Avenue into a newly remodeled space at 1815 Green Acres Road (just off College Avenue), and they’ve also got a location right across from Baum Stadium at 1545 W. 15th Street.

They opened their first Springdale location just off I-49 at at 1100 48th Pl. last year, and they recently announced a Rogers location is coming soon!

We couldn’t be happier to be working with them, and we hope you’ll help us welcome them to the Flyer family by stopping by one of their locations for lunch, dinner, or drinks soon!
