UA seeks competitive male cyclists for hydration study

Researchers at the University of Arkansas are looking for experienced male cyclists for a new study to evaluate the effects of different modes of hydration while cycling in the heat.

Chosen participants will take part in four cycling trials over a four-week period and will be required to visit the Human Performance Laboratory on five occasions.

Those who participate will receive:

  • $150 compensation
  • VO2 Max Test
  • Body composition determination by “DXA scan”
  • Knowledge of your personal hydration status
