It’s going to be a beautiful weekend for baseball, and the Diamond Hogs will be back in action for the first time this season at Baum Stadium on Friday. The Hogs take on Central Michigan at 3 p.m. on Friday, 2 p.m. on Saturday, and at noon on Sunday.

Internationally acclaimed banjo playing husband and wife duo Béla Fleck & Abigail Washburn will perform at Walton Arts Center Friday night.

Also in music, there’s a big show at George’s with Dirtfoot and Mke Dillon. Tickets are $12, on sale here.

There’s an underground show with Memphis one-man band Johnny Lowebow, Janet (half of St. Louis experimental band WHSKY JANETOR), with locals RD Mauzy and Wyatt Guilt at Backspace.

How about a burlesque show? Pretty Things Peepshow, which happen to be some of the best in the biz, will be at Apple Blossom Brewing Co. on Friday night. Here’s where to get tickets.
