Justin Kinkel-Schuster to perform at Block Street Records Feb. 26

Water Liars singer Justin Kinkel-Shuster will perform an intimate show at Block Street Records in Fayetteville on Friday, Feb. 26.

The show is one of several small shows the musician is playing around the country this month as part of a series of “living room shows” with former Centro-Matic frontman, Will Johnson.

Johnson won’t be joining Kinkel-Schuster for the Fayetteville show, but former Fayetteville resident Tony Presley of Real Live Tigers will open things up on Friday night.

Kinkel-Schuster last month released a two-song 7″ preview of his new solo material, and plans to release a full-length album later this year. Only 60 copies of the clear lathe-cut vinyl were produced, and the 7″ is already sold out.

The show starts promptly at 7 p.m., and admission is $5. There are a very limited number of tickets available due to the size of the space.

Tickets to the upcoming On the Map festival, which will feature Kinkel-Schuster’s band Water Liars, will also be available at the show.

Admission is a $5-10 donation for the bands on a first-come, first-served basis at the door.

For a bit more information, visit the Facebook page for the event.
