Election Results: 2016 Washington County primary and non-partisan judicial candidates

Voters showed up in record numbers for the 2016 preferential primary and non-partisan judicial elections held in Washington County on Tuesday.

Over 47,000 out of 120,000 registered voters turned out for the primaries this year, and with over 98 percent of precincts reporting, the unofficial results were announced just before 11 p.m. at the Washington County Courthouse.

A total of 17,831 ballots were cast in the Democratic primary, and 29,024 ballots were cast for the Republican ticket. Only 201 non-partisan only ballots were cast.

The full (unofficial) results are listed below. Keep in mind these results only reflect ballots cast in Washington County.
