In case you haven’t heard, there’s an indie music festival happening in Fayetteville this weekend. The first ever On the Map Fest kicked off on Thursday, but there are several more performances to check out on Friday and Saturday as well.

Friday night, the official event will conclude with performances by Witchsister, Tristen, Adam Faucett, This Will Destroy You, and Pallbearer at Fayetteville Town Center. It’s an all ages show, and tickets are $25 at the door. Here’s more.

It’s the last Saturday of the month, and that means it’s time for the Last Saturday variety show at Fayetteville Underground. Performers include musicians Jimmy Wayne Garret, Chase Chamberlain (Friday, Maybe Saturday) and S. J. Tucker.

Also in music, locals Chasing Pictures are back at George’s with Fort Smith band Patterns & Waves. Admission is $7.

The Razorback baseballers are in town for a series against Auburn at Baum Stadium this weekend as well. They need to get back on track this weekend after a rough showing in South Carolina last week.
