The 2016 season at the Walmart AMP continues to grow.

With 12 shows already on the schedule for the spring, summer, and fall, the venue last week announced that indie/folk/Americana outfit The Lumineers has been added to the lineup as the 13th show of the season on Saturday, Oct. 1.

The Lumineers are probably best known for their 2012 single “Ho Hey,” which sold over 2 million copies and helped to secure the group’s two Grammy nominations that year.

This month, the band plans to release their second album, Cleopatra on April 8. The first single from that album, Ophelia is already treading No. 1 for the fifth straight week on Adult album Alternative radio charts.

BØRNS and Rayland Baxter are also on the bill for the show.

Tickets range from $29.50-$49.50, and go on sale Friday, April 8 at 10 a.m. at amptickets.com.
