Meghan Trainor added to the AMP season for Aug. 2 show

This post is all about that … next performer announced for the Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion in Rogers.

Pop songwriter and vocalist Meghan Trainor, who shot to fame on the success of her hit “All About that Bass,” will perform at the outdoor amphitheater in Rogers, it was announced earlier today. Tickets for her Aug. 2 show go on sale at 10 a.m. April 29 through the Walton Arts Center box office (hyperlink: ), by calling 479-443-5600 or at the center’s temporary box office in Nadine Baum Studios. Tickets range from $29.95 to $59.95.

Trainor, just 22 years old, will release her second album, “Thank You,” on May 13. The first single from that album, “No,” is already a top three Billboard Hot 100 hit.

Opening for Trainor on her “The Untouchable Tour” will be Hailee Steinfeld, known for her pop music but also for her acting career, including her appearance in “True Grit.”

The AMP season begins April 30 with a performance by Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band and continues into the fall. More concert announcements are expected soon.
