The Goo Goo Dolls are celebrating 30 years of music with a new record and a massive tour this summer that includes a stop in northwest Arkansas at the Walmart AMP on Tuesday, Sept. 6.

The multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated band has sold over 10 million albums since first forming in 1986. While the group is responsible for several hit singles, they’re best known for “Iris,” a song originally written for the soundtrack of the 1998 film City of Angels and later included on the band’s sixth album Dizzy Up the Girl.

The group has since recorded five more albums, including Boxes, which was released last month through Warner Bros. Records.

Special guests Collective Soul will open the show.

Tickets are $35.50-$61.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, June 17. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and music will begin at 7:30 p.m.

To purchase tickets, visit amptickets.com or call the Walton Arts Center box office at 479-443-5600.
