Don’t forget to grab a blanket or some lawn chairs and head out to the park tonight.

The final event in a series of free summer concerts is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 4 at the Gulley Park gazebo in east Fayetteville.

Tonight’s music is provided by Fayetteville songwriter Effron White.

Organized by the city’s Parks and Recreation department, the series includes a half dozen concerts, with a new band playing every other Thursday beginning at 7 p.m. The events are free and open to the public. Coolers are welcome for those who’d like to pack snacks or dinner, but food vendors are also usually set up around the park. For those unfamiliar, see the photo above for what to expect.
