The golf tourney will begin at 9 a.m., followed by lunch at Foghorn’s beginning at 11 a.m. Live music will be provided by The Pool Boys at that time, and raffle drawings will take place at noon. Several adoptable animals will also be on hand for folks to meet.

The event has grown to become a major fundraiser for the Humane Society over the years. According to organizer Jeff Hodges, Putt for Paws raised over $16,000 last year, and a total of well over $50,000 since it began in 2008.

This year, Hodges said he’s already raised over $16,000 of his $20,000 goal through hole sponsorships alone. All of the proceeds from the event go directly to the Humane Society of the Ozarks, as any expenses not covered through donations are paid by Foghorn’s directly.
