Altitude Trampoline Park planned for Fayetteville

It looks like Fayetteville will soon have a new trampoline park.

City planning documents indicate that an Altitude Trampoline Park is in the works at 648 E. Van Asche Drive in uptown Fayetteville.

Large-scale development plans submitted last week show a 28,000-square-foot facility located on just under seven acres of property east of the Courtyard by Marriott hotel.

For those who aren’t familiar, trampoline parks are exactly what they sound like. Large facilities filled with dozens of bouncy trampolines for birthday parties, fitness, trampoline basketball, dodgeball, or just general bouncing.

Altitude operates 24 locations around the country, including one in Little Rock.

City planners are set to formally review the site plan next week. From there, the plans would be forwarded to the Planning Commission.

Once approved, construction is expected to begin in early 2017.

UPDATE: A groundbreaking celebration is planned for 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2017, according to Fort Worth, TX-based ATP Franchising, LLC.
