So, you think you’re a pretty good putt-putt player, eh? On Saturday, you’ll get a chance to prove it.

That’s because Single Parent Scholarship Fund’s annual Golftoberfest mini-golf tourney is set for Saturday, Oct. 1 at Gator Golf.

The event, like a traditional golf tournament, features four-person teams playing in an 18 hole competition. Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place winners, and all participants will also receive a goodie bag, lunch, and a t-shirt.

Flights are set for 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., and lunch will be served at around 11 a.m.

The cost to participate is $15 per person, or $60 f or a team of 4. Online registration is now open.

The event is one of the largest fundraisers of the year for Single Parent Scholarship Fund, an organization that offers encouragement and access to higher education for single parents in Washington, Carroll, and Madison Counties.
