It’s one of the most beautiful times of the year in Fayetteville.

The chill of fall has begun to set in with cool mornings and perfectly warm afternoons, and soon, we’ll be treated to the annual color show that is the fall foliage in the Ozark Mountains.

Halloween is also around the corner, and there are several places around the region to pick out a pumpkin (or several) for your front porch display or jack-o-lantern carving this year.

We found a handful of local farms that sell pumpkins to the public, and while they’re at it, several of them offer other activities as well. Corn mazes, pony rides, petting zoos, corn cannons, and hay rides are a few of the activities you and your family can find if you visit the farms below.

Plus, it sure beats buying a pumpkin at the grocery store.

Happy pumpkin picking, everyone.
