Drivers in midtown Fayetteville may encounter some lane closures when traveling southbound on College Avenue this week.
City transportation crews are scheduled to begin an asphalt repair project to a section of College Avenue between Township and North streets. Work will begin Monday, Oct. 10 and should finish by Friday, Oct. 14.

The project will require closure of the right southbound lane on College Avenue from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Detour signs and flaggers will be in place to help direct traffic, according to a news release.
