Razorback Hockey

It’s going to be a pretty great weekend for wine lovers in Fayetteville. Restore Huminity’s annual Winetopia fundraiser is Friday night at Pratt Place Barn. Here’s more information about that.

How about some hockey? The Razorback hockey team is taking on Illinois State at the Jones Center this weekend, with matches at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday night.

There’s theatre as well. TheatreSquared’s new show I and You continues at Nadine Baum Studios through the weekend. Here’s the schedule.

The UA Theatre department is performing a new show as well. Angels in America – Millennium Approaches also runs through the weekend. Here’s more info.

Music-wise, country artist Frank Foster is at George’s, there’s a rock show at Ryleigh’s with Consider the Source, and Nashville Americana act Brother & The Hayes are at Smoke & Barrel.

Wick-it the Instigator

Get thirsty, wine lovers. The second annual Wines & Vines in the Garden is set for Saturday afternoon at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks. The event will include over 50 wines for sampling, live music, and food from several local mobile vendors. Here’s our full story.

Music-wise, Nashville DJ Wick-it the Instigator is at George’s, and touring act Mclovins are at Ryleigh’s along with locals, Vintage Pistol.

There’s a roller derby bout on Sunday light. Locals from NWA Roller Derby will host their annual Hallowscream Co-ED Roller Derby Mash-Up at Starlight Skatium.

Also Sunday night, Little Rock duo Fret & Worry are in town for a show at Maxine’s.
