The only sexy Celtic-themed sports bar we know of in Fayetteville has closed its doors.
Tilted Kilt, formerly located at 3619 Mall Ave., officially closed sometime last week.
According to a sign placed on the door, a new concept and remodel are in the works for the location.
“Tilted Kilt is currently closed and preparing for renovations for a new concept. Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patronage,” the sign states.
Tilted Kilt opened in early 2012. The restaurant served burgers, sandwiches, and other sports bar fare, but was probably known more for its scantily clad wait staff and UFC Fight Night events than its food.
The restaurant chain still operates locations in 28 states, and two Canadian provinces.
