‘Buffalo Boogie’ benefit set for Jan. 29 at George’s

Five local bands will come together this month to help raise money for the Buffalo River Watershed Alliance.

Locals The Cate Brothers, Leah & The Mojo Doctors, Jim Mills & The Hellbenders, The Sumler/Huff Band, and Bill Dollar and Loose Change are set to perform at the first ever “Buffalo Boogie,” set for Sunday, Jan. 29 at George’s Majestic Lounge.

The Buffalo River Watershed Alliance is a non-profit organization created to help preserve and protect the Buffalo National River.

The event begins at 4 p.m., and music starts at 5 p.m. Admission is a $5 suggested donation, and organizers say free parking in the West Lot (the Walton Arts Center lot) will be available during the show.
