Shook Twins, YMSB, Victor Wooten, Chris Robinson, Jayhawks, and more coming soon to George’s

The students are back in town for the spring semester, warmer weather is on the way, and the upcoming lineup at George’s is heating up this time of year as well.

The venue’s winter/spring schedule is out, and there are tons of notable shows on the schedule.

Fayetteville Roots Festival fans will be excited that veterans The Shook Twins will be back in town for a show on Feb. 1, Shovels & Rope will be back on March 21, the Steel Wheels will perform on March 22.

Other big names on the calendar include Yonder Mountain String Band on Feb. 19, YouTube sensations Steve’n’Seaguls on Feb. 24, Cold War Kids on March 11, Victor Wooten Trio on March 30, The Jayhawks on April 9 and Chris Robinson Brotherhood on April 10.

Country music fans will be excited about Eli Young Band performing two nights on Feb. 2-3, Roger Creager will be in town on Feb. 16, locals Backroad Anthem will perform on March 3, and Cody Johnson will play that next night on March 4.

There are also plenty of big EDM shows on the calendar, including French producer CloZee on Jan. 26, Boulder act Savoy will perform on March 2. and Big Gigantic on March 5.

There’s plenty of local music on the bill as well, including Vintage Pistol on Jan. 28, the Atta album release party on Feb. 8, Honeyjack on Feb. 9, Goose on Feb. 11, and Randall Shreve on Feb. 18.

Other shows that caught our eye include blues act Samantha Fish on Feb. 10, Joseph w/ Kelsey Kopecky on Feb. 23, and Split Lip Rayfield on March 31.
