You Tube sensations Postmodern Jukebox and Straight No Chaser are coming to the AMP this summer.

The venue this week announced that the groups will perform on Sunday, Aug. 6.

Postmodern Jukebox is the creation of musician Scott Bradlee, whose band reimagines contemporary pop songs in various styles from music history, such as doo-wop, ragtime, and Motown. Bradley miself calls the band’s style “pop music in a time machine.” Since the band started in 2009, it’s videos have received over 650 million views on YouTube. The band has also been featured on “Good Morning America,” and performed hundreds of sold out shows on tour around the country.

Straight No Chaser is an a cappella group that formed at Indiana University back in 1996. The band also has a huge You Tube following, with over 80 million views on their videos. The band has performed on TV quite a bit as well, with appearances on NBC’s Today, ABC’s World News, and other shows. The band has also been a fixture on Pollstar’s Top 25 Tour artists in North America list.
