Sunrise Stage lineup includes Billy Joe Shaver, Ian More, and others
A new music venue is coming to Midtown Fayetteville, and they released an impressive initial lineup of shows today.
Sunrise Stage, the new venue owned by local business man Don Nelms, is set to debut this weekend with a sold-out soft opening show featuring international guitar duo Loren and Mark Friday, Feb. 18.
After that, the venue is planning a six-show spring concert series featuring legendary singer/songwriter Billy Joe Shaver (March 29), Carolyn Wonderland (4/3), Shake Russell & Michael Hearne (4/28), Adam Hood (5/5), Ian Moore (5/11), and The Nighthawks (5/21).
The venue, with only 120 seats, was designed by Nelms to be “an intimate venue for serious music lovers.”
“First and foremost, Sunrise Stage is about the music,” Nelms said. “Beyond the concert series, we plan to bring local and regional musicians from all musical genres to the Stage.”
Season passes for the concert series are $300, on sale now sunriseguitars.com. Passes can also be purchased at Sunrise Guitars or by calling Kelley Carey at 479.442.7021. Tickets are limited to a maximum of 4 per person.
Doors will open for each of the shows at 6:30 p.m., and the shows will start at 7:30 p.m.
