ZZ Top coming to the AMP June 9

Classic rockers ZZ Top are coming to the AMP this summer, venue officials announced today via their Twitter account on Tuesday.

The band will perform at the venue on Friday, June 9.

ZZ Top formed in Houston in the late 1960s. The band is crazy famous for their classic hits “Gimme All Your Lovin,” “Sharp Dressed Man,” “Legs,” “I Gotsta Get Paid,” and others.

They’re one of the longest running bands in the country still touring with their original lineup, featuring founders Billy F. Gibbons (guitar and lead vocals), Dusty Hill (bass and vocals), Frank Beard (drums). The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004.

Tickets to the show range from $36-$75.50, and go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 3.
