It looks like another coffee chain is planning to set up shop in Fayetteville.

Bolder Coffee is planning to open Fayetteville locations at 1947 N. College Ave., in the building formerly home to an Arvest Bank, and at 1025 N. Garland Avenue, in the building formerly home to UARK Federal Credit Union.

According to the company’s Facebook page, the restaurant and coffee shop will include a drive-thru window and will offer locally-roasted coffee, frozen espresso, tea frosts, Kombucha and fruit smoothies.

The shop will join Baba Boudan’s and Mama Carmen’s on the avenue that is becoming pretty coffee-rich lately. Starbucks is building a nearby location in the lot next to CVS near the corner of College and Township Street and as we learned earlier this month, the coffee giant is also pursuing a location near the corner of College and Dickson Street.

Bolder Coffee COO Amber Dietrich said she recently moved to Fayetteville from Dallas, and she and a local private investor are the duo behind Bolder Coffee. The company currently has five locations in the works, and plans to operate out of Northwest Arkansas.

“Our goal is to build a medium sized privately held company that offers people the opportunity to pursue career paths that they may not have otherwise thought was possible,” Dietrich said. “We also hope to add value to the communities we serve by having family friendly and dog friendly cafes.”

Dietrich said if all goes well, the Garland Ave. location will open in May, and College Avenue location will be open sometime in late summer.
