The performance art festival that made its debut in Fayetteville last year will return in 2017.
Organizers of the Inverse Performance Art Festival this week announced the festival is set for Thursday, March 30 through Saturday, April 1 this year.
The event is organized and curated by Cynthia Post Hunt of Fayetteville, AR and Emma Saperstein of San Luis Obispo, CA, and intended to “elevate the medium of performance art and immerse residents in the performative practice through workshops, lectures, panel discussions and open rehearsals. ”
It will take place at venues across the region, including the University of Arkansas’ Faulkner Performing Arts Center at the University of Arkansas, the UA Art & Design District, and the new Feast Gallery in Fayetteville, and at Crystal Bridges, 21c Hotel Museum, and Foxhole Public House in Bentonville.
