The new restaurant and outdoor music venue in Uptown Fayetteville created by the folks behind JJ’s Grill will open soon, and the first shows at the new spot have been announced.

The venue, which plans to host a series of free shows by regional and national acts each summer, expects to be up and running sometime this spring.

Organizers have been quietly releasing artists for their summer concert series on their Facebook page and website recently, and to date have announced ten big shows for their inaugural season.

Their series will kick off with singer-songwriter Marc Broussard on Saturday, May 25.

Most of the concert series shows to follow will be held on Thursday nights.

The other shows announced so far include Randy Rogers Band (June 1), The Strubmellas (June 8), Drake White and the Big Fire (June 15), Kellie Pickler (June 22), Mingo Fishtrap (June 29), Reckless Kelley (July 6), Whiskey Myers (July 20), Lake Street Dive (Aug. 17), and Bob Schneider (Sept. 7).

Since the shows are free to attend, no tickets will be required, and admission will be on a first-come, first served basis. Doors to each of the shows will open at around 3 p.m., and it looks like showtime will be around 7 p.m. for most shows.
