Volunteer Pop-Up event set for Saturday at Wilson Park

Looking for some volunteer opportunities in and around Fayetteville?

You’ll find plenty this weekend at the first ever Volunteer Pop-Up event on Saturday, April 22 at Wilson Park.

The event, organized by the NWA Peace Coalition, will showcase several local non-profit organizations who will be on hand to talk with attendees about their various volunteer opportunities. There will also be free drinks (bring your own cup, FYI), a face painting station, photo booth, art station, a t-shirt making station (bring your own blank t-shirt), speakers, free yoga, and other activities.

A list of participating non-profits are below. The fun starts at 1 p.m., and speakers will begin at around 3 p.m.
