FREE DEMOS

Fayetteville Pilates and Barre is celebrating International Pilates Day on Sat. May 6th with a free open house featuring live demonstrations, raffle prizes and refreshments.

Have you ever wanted to try out a fitness class before you committed to a package? Ever wondered if you could even do something like Pilates?

Pilates Day is a great reason to stop by the studio and see what typically happens in class without taking a full class. Instructors will be ready to give you a test drive on spring resistance machine called a Reformer, show you some TRX suspension training basics, make your legs shake a little at the Barre and find your core with some beginner Pilates Mat exercises.

Join us anytime between 12 and 4 p.m. and try some exercises in a spacious, low-key, family friendly environment. Come as you are, workout apparel not required!

TEACHER TRAININGS

Fayetteville Pilates and Barre will also be hosting Pilates Teacher Trainings starting this Spring. Studio owner and Master Instructor, Lisa Webb, will guide students through an in-depth and practical look at Pilates exercises and philosophy. The complete training is broken down into smaller modules that can be taken one at a time over 2-day weekend courses.

Lisa first found Pilates while recovering from a chronic lower back injury in college. Since then, she has worked as a full-time instructor in Los Angeles and New Orleans before opening Fayetteville Pilates and Barre in 2012. FPB, once a hidden secret with the locals, moved to a brand new, fully equipped space in the Whole Foods shopping center in 2015 and is now the only Authorized Training Center for Balanced Body in Arkansas.

Each training module is 16 hours split into two 8 hour days filled with lecture, movement and practice teaching. Students will be supported by FPB throughout their training process if they just take one training or all of them.

Below is the Training Schedule for 2017:
Reformer 1 — May 20-21 — 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Mat 1 and Movement Principles — Sept 9-10 — 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Mat 2 — Sept 30-Oct1 — 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Reformer 1 — Oct 14-15 — 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Reformer 2 — Oct 28-29 — 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
