One of the most fun events of the year for dogs (and dog lovers) is coming up next month in Fayetteville.

The 25th annual Dogwood Walk benefiting the Humane Society of the Ozarks is set for Saturday, May 6 at Gulley Park in Fayetteville.

This year’s event begins at 8 a.m., and will include dog contests, face painting, dog demonstrations, a photo booth, and more. At 11 a.m., the annual Dogwood Walk parade around the park will begin led by this year’s grand marshall, Lindsay Soulsby and her rescue dog, Mulligan.

Registration is $25 ($20 for Humane Society members), and includes lunch and a t-shirt. Companion Passes for families or friends are available for an additional $5 with a paid registration (does not include a t-shirt). Kids 5 and under may attend for free.

In addition, microchipping services will also be offered at the event for $20 to help you locate your pup if it ever gets lost.

All proceeds from the Dogwood Walk benefit the Humane Society of the Ozarks. For more information, visit hsozarks.org.
