Air up your tires, Fayetteville. Tomorrow (May 19) is National Bike to Work Day.

Bike Fayetteville is encouraging local residents to “swap their seat belts for a helmet” for the day on Friday, May 19, and ride their bikes on their daily commute.

To sweeten the deal, aid stations will be set up along the Razorback Greenway with free coffee, snacks, and bike mechanics at several locations around the region.

In Fayetteville, the station will be set up outside Arsaga’s at the Depot from 7-9 a.m.

Bike to Work Day is part of The League of American Bicyclists’ National Bike Month, a nationwide effort to encourage folks to get active and include bicycles in their day-to-day transportation habits.
