Ozark Regional Transit will offer free rides for children under 17 years of age this summer.
The program begins May 30 and runs through Sept. 1.
During that time, kids can hitch a free ride to several attractions across the region that are on or close to ORT’s routes, from Wilson Park Pool, to Malco Cinemas, the Northwest Arkansas Mall, and other parks and play areas.
Ozark Regional Transit has created a map of their routes highlighting some of the attractions that might be of interest, and it’s embedded below. The yellow points are located directly on an ORT route, the greens are within walking distance, and the blue points are within biking distance of an ORT route. Bikes are always welcome on ORT busses.
This marks the 10th year ORT has offered the free rides for kids program. Kids 12 or under must be accompanied by an adult to ride.
