The Fayetteville Public Library will celebrate its annual Summer Reading Club with a kickoff party from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 3.

The event will feature a construction zone with touchable machines, bounce houses, stilt walking, face painting, a photo booth, balloons, a food court, hair streaking, temporary tattoos, a LEGO building station, a Friends of the Library book sale and more.

The theme of this year’s event is “Build a Better World.” In 2016, more than 4,500 kids, teens and adults participated in the club, and nearly 20,000 people attended a summer program. To sign up for Summer Reading Club, or for more information, visit www.faylib.org/summer.
