The Fayetteville Farmers’ Market is full of locally grown vegetables, fruits, greens, meats, and more. Now, the folks behind the market want to help you learn how to make these ingredients even more delicious.

The farmers’ market will host a series of cooking demonstrations every third Saturday of the month now through the rest of the summer, officials announced last week.

The first demonstration is set for Saturday, June 17, and will feature local chefs Heather Artripe of Ozark Natural Foods, and Anne Carroll of the Farmers’ Table Cafe teaching attendees how to create recipes using fresh local ingredients from the market.

They’ll also offer free samples of their dishes.

The demos begin at 9 a.m., and are open to the public.
