Mark your calendar, taco fans. The downtown location of Burrito Loco we told you about back in April is set to open this weekend.
According to a post on the restaurant’s Facebook page from earlier today, the new location will open on Friday, June 23.
The restaurant will be located at 1 E. Center Street, Suite 160, in the space formerly home to Bouchee Bistro.
Burrito Loco got its start in the back of the Columbia Mex convenience store at 2155 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., and eventually grew to take over most of the space. The restaurant specializes in tacos, burritos, tortas, and other authentic Mexican cuisine.
Despite the similar names, the restaurant is not affiliated with Mr. Taco Loco restaurant at 1701 S. School Ave, nor the Taco Loco restaurant at 2175 N College Ave.
