Clinton House Museum hosts party for First Ladies Garden on June 29

The Clinton House Museum will host a garden party to help raise money for continued upkeep and expansion of its First Ladies Garden from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 29.

Established in 2010 in honor of Hillary Clinton, the garden pays tribute to all the women who’ve lived in the White House. It includes various favorites and other flowers associated with each of the first ladies.

Guests at the fundraising event, called Bloom, are invited to wear their favorite garden party hat and “garden finery.” Those without a garden hat can make one at a decorating table.

Those in attendance can wander around the garden, listen to gardeners talk about the flowers, and hear about future upgrades, including a planned paved walkway through the garden.

Tickets are $25 and include a catered dinner and live music. Guests can also expect signature cocktails, flower arranging demonstrations, and a raffle for several prizes.
