A new spot for coffee, beer, and ice cream will soon open in uptown Fayetteville.

Puritan Coffee & Beer (formerly Puritan Brew Co.) is set to open a second location in the new Uptown Fayetteville Apartments + Shops development in north Fayetteville.

The restaurant, coffee shop, and bar, which originally opened on Dickson Street in 2014, is well known for its coffee and extensive craft beer collection.

The new spot will also be home to a Burton’s Creamery location, owner Kevin Frey told us on Thursday.

“We’re extremely excited to collaborate on drinks and other ice cream creations (with Burton’s),” Frey said.

Renovations are set to begin soon.

“The space will feel similar (to the original location) but will definitely have its own character,” Frey said. “We’ve been working closely with Lucky and Bradley at Ozark Modern to really make this space special. This is our first time to build out a space from complete scratch so we are trying to put our best foot forward.”

Alan Cole of Colliers International represented Puritan and Specialized Real Estate (owner of Uptown Fayetteville) in the lease transaction.

If all goes well, the new spot will be up and running by the end of the year.
