First Thursday returns to the Fayetteville square at 5 p.m. July 6, and this month’s event is all about summer games.

Expect yard games, board games, a tinkering station, food trucks, live music with Hosty Trio singer Mike Hosty, and beer from Core Brewing Co.

Art wise, local gallery Fayetteville Underground will include an extended glass art exhibition in honor of the Chihuly exhibits at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. The gallery will also feature three Eureka Springs artists, and Dylan Mortimer, whose recent work documents his personal struggles with cystic fibrosis.

Just down Center Street to the west at the Walker-Stone House, local artist group Fenix Fayetteville will host an opening reception for a month-long exhibit featuring 11 Arkansas artists working in a variety of disciplines, including painting and drawing, sculpture, installation, collage, and mixed media.

And on Center Street to the east Stage Eighteen hosts a reception for Aerosol Pulp: You Cannot Escape , an art show featuring Kenneth Siemens.

Free parking is available for the event in the Town Center parking deck.
