It’s picnic season, and there’s a larger than normal one coming up in Fayetteville this weekend.

The City of Fayetteville’s Community Resources Division will host the 10th annual Community Development Block Grant in the Park picnic from 10:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Friday, July 14 at Walker Park.

The event will include free hot dogs, drinks, ice cream treats, and snacks. City officials will provide information to citizens about the CDBG program. Local businesses and organizations will also be on hand to share information on the services they offer.

The event is free to attend, and open to the public.
