The first ever Beer-Ology Festival is set for July 29-30 at Nomads Music Lounge.

The event will include samples of local beer by 20 local and regional breweries, beer-cocktails created by bartenders from the Ozark Mixology guild, drink and food pairings, mixology classes, and live music by local acts Foggy Bobcat and The Jackson Jennings 5.

Breweries that will be represented at the event include Green Flash Brewing Co., Bike Rack, Lost Forty, Piney River, Lazy Magnolia, SweetWater, Core, Elk Valley, The Leaky Roof Meadery, Stegil, and Springfield Brewing Company.

Tickets to the event range from $13 for a single-day pass, to $24 for both days. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Fayetteville Animal Services.
